Description

Boondocks’ Defensive Carbine course is a one-day class designed to develop defensive shooting skills using your AR15 or AK47 style carbine rifle. Students will learn a variety of techniques designed to increase speed and accuracy for both close quarters and extended range shooting. Students will be transitioning from multiple shooting positions including standing, kneeling and prone. Students will also gain a better understanding of optical offset, clearing malfunctions, engaging multiple targets, using cover and concealment and shooting around barricades.

What to bring:

• AR15/M4 Carbine Rifle
• Rifle Sling
• 500 rounds of ammunition
• Four 30 round magazines
• Eye protection, ear protection (electronic preferred)
• Ball cap / Sun-visor
• Shooting mat/pad or similar
• Elbow and knee pads, optional but recommended
• High neck shirt / t-shirt, closed toe shoes, pants or shorts with belt loops and loose pockets
