Tactical Anatomy for Law Enforcement
Last weekend a group of Boondocks Instructors gathered to participate in a potential new course offering, the Tactical Anatomy for Law Enforcement developed by Andy Anderson. Andy is a Boondocks FTA™ Instructor with a long list of credentials and classes under his belt, plus he is also an emergency room doctor here in Jackson, MS.
If a Law Enforcement Officer is forced to discharge their firearm, they have a duty to end the fight as quickly and efficiently as possible so as to prevent injury to innocent bystanders. Typical police qualifications happen on a square range using 2d paper targets which do not mimic realistic encounters. This course gives LEOs a 3D anatomical perspective on how end the fight with the least amount of rounds fired. The course is about 4-5 hours and requires about 100 rounds of ammunition. If you are in charge of a police agency and would like more information on the course, please contact Chad Winkler at [email protected].
