How Boondocks Firearms Training Academy Continues Colonel Jeff Cooper’s Legacy
When you talk about modern defensive firearms training, one name stands above the rest: Colonel Jeff Cooper. Known as the father of the modern pistol technique. Cooper revolutionized how shooters approached personal defense. In 1976, Cooper founded Gunsite Academy in Arizona, creating the first training facility dedicated to teaching civilians the mindset and skills needed to combat an armed attacker. Cooper believed that armed citizens should be prepared, disciplined, and morally grounded in their use of force.
Fast forward to today, and the need for Cooper’s teachings is greater than ever. That’s where Boondocks Firearms Training Academy comes in. Founded in 2015
