Ladies, buying a firearm is a personal choice! Don't let someone else decide what you should shoot. We have compiled a list of the firearms most popular with women, based on what women like to shoot, not what some guy behind the counter thinks you will like. At Boondocks, you can even try the firearm out before you decide to purchase it. Come by our Pro Shop and speak with one of our certified firearms instructors, and let them guide you through the process of finding that perfect firearm for YOU!

Boondocks also has a great selection of ladies handbags, belly bands and holsters for concealed carry.

Gun Fittings - If you are renting a gun and/or gear for your class, you are strongly encouraged to set up a Fitting at least one week prior to the day of the class. The Fitting allows you to try out several different makes, models, and calibers of firearms to determine which one you should use for your upcoming course. There is no additional charge for the Fitting for any student signed-up for a Boondocks™ shooting course. Please call the Pro Shop to schedule your fitting.

Private Fittings- Private Fittings are $50.00 and include up to an hour on the range with an instructor. These private fittings allow you to shoot multiple firearms with the help of an instructor to determine which firearm fits you best.

Anyone who purchases a gun within 14 days following the completion of their Gun Rental for a class or Alumni Range session, or Private Fitting will receive a $25.00 discount on their firearm purchase. The $25.00 discount does not apply to “special priced” firearms and can’t be combined with any other sales promotions; the customer will simply get the greater discount.

Our “try it before you buy it” program is a free service to our customers who are looking to purchase a firearm. This program allows you to test fire 3 rounds from as many as 3 different guns prior to purchasing.

Gun Rental is available for any of Boondocks™ firearms classes. Gun Rental is $25 per day. ALL ammunition for the rental gun must be purchased through the Pro Shop. No private ammo may be used in any of the rental guns. Ammo prices vary by caliber. All gun rental and ammunition purchases must be made on the day of your class.

Gear Rental Policy - Boondocks™ also offers Gear Rental Packages (belt, magazine pouches, and holster) for selected models.

Gear rental (knee pads, mats...) is $10/day. Please call our Pro Shop for Gear Rental options.

For example: Gun and gear rental for a two-day firearms training course is $70.00. (Gun Rental = $25 x 2 days + Gear Rental = $10 x 2 days: Total = $70.)
