Understanding and Training the Female Shooter

The purpose of this one-day instructor development class is to share knowledge gained through over 30 years of training shooters at every level, specifically women. The primary goal of the class is to provide realities, concepts, and approaches that will assist instructors in enhancing their female shooter’s performance. It is designed and delivered by experienced female firearms instructors whose intentions are to broaden the knowledge base of how a female’s physiology plays a role in the shooting process, ergonomic aides/technologies currently available to assist the smaller statured shooter, communication styles, culture, age, and social issues that can impact the female shooter. Instructors will evaluate creative and effective ways of using peer coaching, introducing competition into their training as well as proven concentration techniques to improve marksmanship and gun handling. This is an open format class with 360 degrees of information sharing. This is a very honest and realistic approach to enhancing the female’s shooting performance.

-Ball cap or hat with bill

-Pistol and full duty belt/or EDC
