On the Hunt: EDC Flashlight

A flashlight

If you have ever taken a low light shooting class (or plan to take one in the future) you quickly realize how easy it is to become a flashlight nerd. So on our last trip to SHOT we stopped by the Streamlight booth to nerd out on some of the latest releases. While there, Mark and I both walked away with a FREE Microstream USB lights. We were quickly impressed by how bright and small these new lights were. They are capable of 250 lumens and at 3.87″ long and 1.2 ounces it slips into a pocket and you will never know it is there. The light comes in several different colors including Black, Red, Blue and Coyote and have a high and low output mode. The Coyote color starts in high lumens mode and switches to low lumens with a secondary push of the tail caps switch. All other colors start in the low lumens mode. All come with a pocket/hat clip, a lanyard and a USB charging cord. I have been carrying this light for the past 4 months and have not had any issues. I charge it about once a week and a complete charge takes less than an hour. MSRP is right at $40.00. Stop by our Pro Shop to check out the new Microstream USB from Streamlight.
