The Prague Mass Shooting

There has been very little media coverage here in the U.S. about the Prague mass shooting that occurred on December 21st. One of the reasons is that the mainstream media wants you to believe that these types of events only happen in the United States. The Prague shooting claimed 14 lives, which would place it just outside the top 10 worst mass shootings in America. This event was on par with Ft. Hood and worse than Columbine. One of the best sources for this type of information is Greg Ellifritz’s Weekend Knowledge Dump where he linked to this Daily Mail article about the Prague shooting, and had the below poignant questions for schools, churches and other self-defenders.

  1. Have you adequately secured the rooftop of your school or office building from unauthorized access?
  2. Do the cops know how to access the roof of your commercial building or school to get to the killer?
  3. Are there areas on the ground nearby that offer good cover from elevated threats and will provide you with a safe angle to return fire?
  4. Could you make a 100+ meter shot with your concealed carry pistol?
  5. If the shooter is on the building roof, is it safer to barricade inside the building or to escape?
  6. Are there any exits that cannot be observed by any potential rooftop shooting position?
